Diary
Rin had drawn up eleven contingency plans for the day, none of which involved snapping at Yuuki over a dumb joke in the elevator of Dojo Towers, and yet there he was, vein pulsing, voice cracking like a rusted katana that hadn't seen a whetstone since the last real war. He'd spent years scanning rooftops for ambushes that never came, triple checking locks on doors nobody was trying to break, and somehow all that hoarded vigilance detonated on a guy who just wanted to clown him about his floor-price obsession. The old discipline he swears he's rebuilding, the meditation app, the cold showers, the little paper schedule taped crooked to his wall, all of it evaporated in one glorious, ridiculous outburst that left Yuuki laughing too hard to even be mad. Afterward Rin sat on the stairwell recalculating his blood pressure and journaling the incident under
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The red Oni rages where the blue Oni waits. The Red Oni Tattoo fighters run hot and they are at peace with this.
The one the captain trusted with the plan — he mapped every ravine, counted every arrow, rationed rice to the grain so his squad would live. Now he plans everything and controls nothing.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Named for sensation. The Splitting Axe Ache fighters' hair is named for how their opponents feel after they're done.
Organization-issue. The Yakuza Club fighters have backup in the weight of the weapon itself — it carries institutional authority.
