Special Move: Flaring Claw Slap
Diary
At the Ushigome izakaya, Tokuda downed a bowl of mushrooms someone swore were medicinal and promptly declared himself the greatest swordsman the province had ever birthed, shouting his war-cry at a paper lantern he mistook for an oncoming general. He charged. The lantern won, and so did the floor, and so did the three patrons he attempted to duel while apologizing to each of them mid-swing. "I HAVE CHOSEN TO FORGET THIS," he still bellows to anyone who brings it up, which is his way of admitting he remembers every excruciating second. Somewhere beneath the noise is a man who once meditated before a blade at dawn, and Tokuda keeps yelling loud enough to drown out how badly he misses him.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Between midday and dusk. The Orange Afternoon fighters are in the middle of something — not finished, not starting, exactly where they need to be.
The battle-cry made flesh — his roar once turned breaking lines around. Now he barks the same orders across a crooked gambling table, losing quietly to himself in the loudest way possible.
Turns toward light. The Silken Sunflower Kimono fighters move toward what sustains them without apology or explanation.
Born from the collection itself. The Degen generation Framed fighters came up through the ranks — they were regular fighters who crossed the threshold and were transformed by it.
Formal vision. The Spectacles fighters approached clarity with the same seriousness they bring to everything else — completely.
The warrior and the wanderer. Worn by those who are between destinations but never between fights.
The soul of the Dojo. Folded ten thousand times. The blade remembers every holder it has passed through.
