Tokuda used to announce himself before battle with a roar that shook temple rafters, but now the only battle cry left in him erupts over a folding table in some frostbitten parking lot, ribs sizzling on BBQ Ben's rusted grill. HE SCREAMS ITS DONE WHEN ITS DONE like he's commanding a shogun's army, and the shivering strangers around him just want their brisket, not a war chant. Word got out that a former blade-for-hire was out there gnawing on burnt ends in the cold like a raccoon with a katana, and just like that his respectability, the last coin he had left, went straight into Ben's tip jar.
