TOKUDA CHARGED THE RICE PADDIES LIKE IT WAS SEKIGAHARA AGAIN, boar tusks flashing, mud screaming underfoot, and somewhere in that beautiful chaos his blade found a rat that had the audacity to exist in his warpath. He regrets nothing, he will tell you this at full volume whether you asked or not, because a true swordsman commits to the swing and lets the gods sort the casualties. Once he was disciplined, breath counted, strikes measured, a man who could sit in silence for an hour before drawing steel; now he can barely sit through a hand of blackjack without hollering at the dealer like she rugged his life savings.
