Toxic Azuma once trained his breath to be a blade, each inhale measured like a monk's prayer, but these days his ritual bath inside the Dojo is less meditation and more marination in his own bad decisions. The snakes came uninvited, slithering through the steam like tiny debt collectors, and when one grew bold enough to test the poison of a man who had made toxicity his whole personality, Azuma ended it without ceremony, without haiku, without even opening both eyes. He expected thunder, an omen, some cosmic applause for the kill, but the water just kept lukewarm and the moment passed as flat as a rugged floor price. That is the trouble with being the reaction and not the sunrise, nothing announces itself, everything simply curdles quietly, the way his old discipline curdled into this half-lit ritual of soaking with reptiles and grudges. He toweled off unimpressed, muttering that even his violence had gone the way of his savings, slow, expected, and somehow still not enough to wake him up early tomorrow.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.

Another east, but where Drooling Azuma's is the honest sunrise, Toxic's is where the reaction happens — the direction things curdle. Same name, entirely different chemistry.
