Yuuki once carried his blade with the quiet certainty of a man who had faced armies and slept soundly after, so when the wars ended he assumed discipline would simply follow him home like a loyal dog. Instead he found himself standing before the main temple at dawn, incense curling upward in devotion, and something in him mistook that solemn hush for privacy, a catastrophic miscalculation he still narrates with the calm of a man recounting a minor traffic incident. The monks were unimpressed. The koi were unimpressed. Somewhere between the gasps and the sandal thrown by an elderly grandmother, Yuuki's honor left the premises and never fully returned, and he now treats each morning meditation attempt as a small, doomed campaign, steady-eyed and wry, vowing this time will be different right up until it absolutely is not.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
