Under a moon fat and pale as a dealer's promise, Yuuki was set upon by a mob of crows on the temple road, wings and beaks and pure avian malice, and something in him snapped awake that had been asleep since the last war ended. He staggered home missing a topknot and half his dignity, and by dawn he had sworn, out loud, to a very unimpressed cat, that he would live honorably from that day forward. Honor, for Yuuki, has since meant paying back the forty ryo he owes to a dice game with actual money instead of vibes, meditating for a full two minutes before checking if his shitcoin rugged again, and bowing formally to the vending machine that sells him weed-laced mochi at 3am. He fails at the discipline part constantly, tips over mid-kata, forgets his vows the second someone waves a floor-price screenshot at him, but he fails with his spine straight and his chin up, which he has decided counts. He is, against all evidence and all odds, happier now, a man who lost a duel to some birds and won something quieter and far stranger instead.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Between midday and dusk. The Orange Afternoon fighters are in the middle of something — not finished, not starting, exactly where they need to be.

'Yuuki' means courage, earned the plain way: by stepping forward on the mornings every sane part of him voted to step back. Bravery, for him, was a decision made fresh each day.

Organization meets chaos. The Yakuza Hooligan fighters have discipline from one tradition and abandon from another, and they've combined them into something entirely their own.
