Yuuki once carried himself like a man who had already survived the worst thing that could happen to him, which, back then, was true. Then Azuma called him out to the alley behind the noodle stall for a friendly spar, the kind that starts with bowing and ends with Yuuki flat on the gravel wondering why the sky had gone sideways. He does not remember losing so much as he remembers deciding, somewhere mid-flight, that dignity was a floor he had already sold at a discount. Now he treats every small task, paying rent, holding a plank position, not aping into whatever token Azuma is hyping that week, like a sacred trial worthy of his old sword name, and he loses most of them with the same steady, unbothered nod he once reserved for real battle. He has not forgiven himself, not exactly, but he has made peace with being the neighborhood's quietest cautionary tale, standing watch over his own ruin like it still deserves a guard.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
