Akuma

Collected. Not borrowed. The Foe's Teeth fighters carry proof of every fight they've won around their neck and find it a useful conversation starter.

Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.

Every cracked card. White is the beginner's belt, and torn is how the crack left it, border and all: a White card is never printed. A repair earns Blue.

'Akuma' means devil, a name he didn't choose. The survivors needed a word bigger than soldier for what he did on the field, and it stuck.

The organization runs deep. The Peony Yakuza Sleeve fighters have commitments that predated the Dojo and will outlast it.

The world through affection. The Loveheart Shades fighters see everything as worth caring about — and have found this is more effective than the alternative.

Practical and armed. The Hair Bun With Chopsticks fighters put utensils in their hair and call it hair care — the dual function is not accidental.

The turned. 419 fighters who crossed into the demon form — hungrier, harder, and unmistakable on sight. The Dojo's second race, and its darker half.

Stars on a strap. The Shuriken fighters carry more throwing stars than they will ever throw, because running out mid-fight is the one thing they still fear.
