Assassin Fuzen was once the kind of blade you never saw coming and never saw leave, a contract fulfilled in silence before the ink dried on the scroll. Then the wars ended, the daimyo scattered like loose chips, and Fuzen found himself kneeling in the dirt over a pile of drunk degens who'd bet their armor on a coin flip and lost. He stripped them clean, robes and all, and somewhere between the third sandal and the fourth wallet he shed his own clothes too, as if the dirt had asked for a fair trade and he'd agreed without thinking. He tells himself it was tactical, a distraction technique, cold precision dressed as chaos, but the truth sits quieter than that: he liked how it felt to lose something on purpose for once. Every morning since he vows to fold his robes properly, to meditate before the first drink, to close the old contract with his own discipline, and every morning the vow goes unpaid, patient as ever, waiting in the dirt with everything else he never quite finished.
A paper earring from the Dojo itself. Fragile. Replaceable. The fighters who wear them understand that what looks disposable can last forever.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.

'Fuzen' means incompleteness, a joke at his own expense before it was a name. The blade sent for the jobs that had to be certain — left with one last name on his list when the wars ended.
