Fuzen once kept a ledger of debts owed in blood, a samurai's tidy account of honor settled in silence, but on Degens Path he traded the katana's patience for something looser, meaner, and far more satisfying to watch unfold. He beat his own men there, not out of rage but arithmetic, the way a contract killer closes a job that was never technically open, and when it was done he stood over them tainted, grinning, utterly unbothered by the stain. He tells himself this was discipline, some higher form of it, the same lie he mutters every morning he swears off the weed and the dice before noon rolls around and he's aped into both again. The old masters would call what he did dishonor; Fuzen calls it efficient, and files the whole bloody afternoon under unfinished business, pending. He is, by his own quiet estimation, the most pleased man on the floor, patient as a debt that never comes due.
Collected. Not borrowed. The Foes Teeth fighters carry proof of every fight they've won around their neck and find it a useful conversation starter.
