Once Fuzen's blade closed contracts clean, one cut, no follow-up invoice, no loose ends left whispering in the wind. Now he sits at the Misty Mountain tables like an unpaid debt that refuses to age out of memory, betting the family fortune his ancestors bled samurai-blood to build, and losing it with the calm of a man who has already accepted the terms. Something about the collapse thrilled him, the way a mark's pulse used to thrill him before the final stroke, and he leaned into ruin the way he once leaned into a kill, patient, precise, unbothered by consequence. He tells himself tonight he'll fold early, tells himself discipline is just a contract with himself he hasn't broken yet, then watches his own hand push the last chip forward anyway, quiet and menacing even in defeat. The mountain keeps the money and Fuzen keeps coming back, unfinished business in the shape of a man who used to finish everything.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
