Assassin Fuzen had one contract left to close on sparring day, a clean betrayal of his own master, timed to the breath, patient as a debt collector who never raises his voice. Then the pig wandered into the dojo yard, unbothered by steel or fate, and Fuzen's blade hand simply forgot its one job. He tells himself the hesitation was tactical, a feint, the kind of pause a true professional builds into every kill, though the pig has since been named, fed by hand, and given a spot near the sake barrels where the master used to sit. The betrayal is still technically open, filed somewhere between unfinished business and unrequited business, and Fuzen revisits it nightly with the grim discipline of a man practicing forms he no longer intends to use. He can do better, he mutters, scratching the pig behind the ear, already certain he will not.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.

'Fuzen' means incompleteness, a joke at his own expense before it was a name. The blade sent for the jobs that had to be certain — left with one last name on his list when the wars ended.

Named for the legendary swordsman. The Flowing Battousai fighters carry the name of the fastest draw in the collection's lore — and the hair confirms they take this seriously.
The poisonous pufferfish as a weapon. The Frightened Fugu fighters chose something lethal that looks absurd — and find that this is the most accurate description of themselves.
