Assassin Fuzen once kept a ledger of debts owed and honor upheld, a blade sheathed only when the contract was fulfilled. At the Darkness Festival he sat across from Igor, who dealt cards like a man rigging fate itself, and Fuzen wagered the last thing he had left worth losing: his integrity. He did not blink when it slipped away, only exhaled slow through his nose, the way a ronin exhales when the last debt of a dead master is finally, uselessly paid. Some nights he still reaches for the discipline he buried under sake cups and bad bets, grips at it like a hilt that isn't there, and fails again with the same patient, unbothered calm he once reserved for kills. He calls it freedom now, though anyone who has watched him stare at an unfinished hand of cards for eleven straight minutes knows it looks a great deal like a man still waiting for a contract that will never, ever close.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
