Diary
Once, in the whispering bamboo forest outside his lord's estate, Cheery Haru got a little too clever and impersonated his superior, cracking jokes in a borrowed voice until the words tumbled out too rashly and cost him everything he had trained for. He laughs about it now, of course, always laughing, that big bright grin bolted on like second armor while something colder holds it all together underneath. Truthfully he misses the simpler days, back when his whole duty was cleaning poop from the stables at dawn, a task so humble no rash tongue could ruin it. Every so often he swears he will find that quiet discipline again, then someone offers him a drink or a dice cup and he apes right back in, still beaming. Discipline keeps slipping through his fingers like river water, but hey, at least he goes down smiling.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Paper screens at night. The Shoji Night fighters were born in the quiet hours, when the market sleeps and only the committed are still at their screens.
The man who decided grinning was braver than breaking. He held a line so long his smile became the squad's good-luck charm; now he beams through the wreckage of peacetime, a very tired samurai behind the widest smile in the Dojo.
No clothing needed. The Shirtless Runt fighters removed every layer between themselves and the fight. Maximum exposure. Maximum honesty.
Born from the collection itself. The Degen generation Framed fighters came up through the ranks — they were regular fighters who crossed the threshold and were transformed by it.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Practical and armed. The Hair Bun With Chopsticks fighters put utensils in their hair and call it hair care — the dual function is not accidental.
The other fish weapon. The Dead Fish fighters use something that smells like loss as a weapon — opponents are too confused to defend properly.
