In a steam-fogged noodle house somewhere outside Kyoto, Raikou The Stoner sat across from old Raiku, papers rolling slow as tectonic plates, and let the man test his will one puff at a time. He was a samurai once, disciplined enough to hold a stance for a day, but that was before he aped into a different kind of enlightenment, the kind that smells like weed and tastes like broth. Midway through the third bowl and the fifth pass of the joint, something clicked behind his half-lidded eyes, a stillness, an old katana-sharp focus flickering awake beneath all that haze. He stood up too fast, wobbled like a rugged floor chart, and declared right there among the noodle steam that he would teach the degens discipline, breathing, patience, the whole dojo way. Everyone laughed, because Raikou was already reaching for the lighter again, proving once more that enlightenment is a lightning strike he keeps almost catching.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
