Diary
Raikou once carried himself like a general, spine straight as a temple pillar, the kind of samurai whose silence commanded rooms full of louder men. Then came the night in his own quarters when Rin leaned close, the incense curling slow like his own thoughts usually don't, and every ounce of discipline he'd banked for years got aped into one reckless, grinning flirtation that rugged his reputation faster than a rekt floor price. He tells it now like a koan, half proud, half baked, insisting the real lesson was learning how fast stillness can turn to lightning when the wrong smile walks in. These days he says he's done chasing chaos, that he's ready to open a dojo and teach self defense to the next generation, though most nights he's still on the porch, blunt low, mumbling about chi while forgetting to actually stand up and drill anyone. Enlightenment, he claims, is a slow candle, but you already know how that story usually ends for Raikou.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
'Raikou' — lightning light. He moved slow and easy right up until the instant he didn't, and then it was over. These days he's mostly slow, and swears the smoke helps him think.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Movement made permanent. The Long Flowing fighters trail behind themselves in every room they enter — the hair arrives first, then the fighter.
Implies infirmity, delivers otherwise. The Wooden Walking Cane fighters move slower than expected and hit harder than prepared for.
