Diary
Raikou once carried a blade with the discipline of a monk, but these days his only ritual is rolling something fat and staring at the horizon like it owes him yield. The night it all went sideways, he'd aped into a bag of mushrooms at the men's pleasure house, chasing some cosmic alpha he swore was floating in the ceiling tiles, and instead got rugged by whatever mystery ailment was passing through the room like a bad airdrop. He still talks about it in that slow, half asleep cadence of his, like it's some sacred sutra: 'Man... you don't find enlightenment, enlightenment finds you, then it gives you a rash.' He tried, briefly, to return to the old ways, sitting cross legged at dawn trying to meditate it off, but three minutes in he was googling symptoms with one hand and packing a bowl with the other. Diamond hands on the vibes, paper hands on the self control, that's Raikou, forever chasing the floor price of his own peace of mind.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The standard-bearer. The Proud Dejen Kimono fighters represent the collection consciously — they know what they're part of and they dress accordingly.
'Raikou' — lightning light. He moved slow and easy right up until the instant he didn't, and then it was over. These days he's mostly slow, and swears the smoke helps him think.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Movement made permanent. The Long Flowing fighters trail behind themselves in every room they enter — the hair arrives first, then the fighter.
The other fish weapon. The Dead Fish fighters use something that smells like loss as a weapon — opponents are too confused to defend properly.
