Diary
Snow fell over the old training ground like static on a dead channel, and Raikou The Stoner sat cross-legged in it, mushrooms tucked in his sleeve like a secret alpha call nobody asked for. He told himself it was reflection, a ronin's vision quest, but really he just aped into the bag because the floor on discipline had been dumping for weeks and he needed a new entry point. Somewhere between the snowflakes and the slow bloom of color behind his eyes he remembered the katana drills, the breath counts, the version of himself that woke before the sun instead of after the munchies. He is recovering slowly, he says, staring at his palm like it might mint him a new personality, and maybe that is true, or maybe he is just cold and stoned and calling it enlightenment. Either way the lesson lands soft as powder: some men chase the blade, Raikou chases the vibe, and both paths apparently lead back to sitting alone in the snow talking to himself.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The name is the lore. The Poop Pride Kimono fighters have transcended embarrassment so completely that they wear the proof. Undefeated.
'Raikou' — lightning light. He moved slow and easy right up until the instant he didn't, and then it was over. These days he's mostly slow, and swears the smoke helps him think.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Found. Not forged. The Large Branch fighters don't wait for the right weapon — they use what's available and are surprised when this needs explanation.
