Diary
Raikou climbed the Dojo Towers with a joint behind his ear and a vague plan to become great, the way a man aims for the moon and forgets to check if the rocket is loaded. Somewhere around floor forty, between a coughing fit and a snack break, enlightenment just sort of... aped in uninvited, sat down next to him, and asked if he wanted to split a bag. He said yes, obviously, because refusing enlightenment feels rude, and by the time he reached the top he understood the universe, the floor price of his own potential, and absolutely nothing about how stairs work anymore. Somewhere his old sensei is rugged in his grave watching a former blade-master mistake a nicotine high for satori, but Raikou just nods slow, exhales, and says he can do better tomorrow, probably, unless the couch has other plans. Discipline waves at him from across the room; he waves back, forgets why, and rolls another one.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The name is the lore. The Poop Pride Kimono fighters have transcended embarrassment so completely that they wear the proof. Undefeated.
'Raikou' — lightning light. He moved slow and easy right up until the instant he didn't, and then it was over. These days he's mostly slow, and swears the smoke helps him think.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Crow spirit, long nose, ancient power. The Tengu Mask fighters are wearing something that predates the Dojo — something older that chose to be here.
Repurposed. Made for the earth, used for the fight. The Farmers Hoe fighters don't distinguish between cultivation and combat.
