Raikou used to have a topknot so tight you could bounce a coin off it, back when discipline was the only token he held long term. The story goes he sold his master out for something small and dumb near the Dojo gates, a bag deal gone sideways, and karma rugged him instantly, took his hair clean off like the universe hit the slash function on his stake. He tells it slow now, cross legged in the training yard smoke curling like some incense he definitely didn't pay for, saying the bald head is his proof of loss, his on chain receipt for betrayal. Every morning he vows to meditate at dawn, to rebuild the discipline he floor sold that day, and every morning he's back on the mats by noon squinting through a haze insisting enlightenment just needed a snooze button. Somewhere between the shame and the giggles he actually got humble, the real kind, the kind that laughs at itself before anyone else can, and that, he says, is the only gain he never wants to unstake.
