Diary
They say Mount Fuji offers clarity, but Toxic Azuma has always metabolized clarity slower than most, letting it curdle into something meaner before it reaches the surface. He'd gone up there to arrange his thoughts like a man rearranging his portfolio at 3am, cross-legged, breathing deliberate, pretending discipline was a floor price he could still defend, when a loose stone and his own crumbling balance snapped his arm clean in a sound he swears he can still taste. Most men would call it an accident; Azuma called it feedback, the mountain's slow poison finally reaching him instead of the other way around. Cast still drying, he's already sketching plans for his own dojo on the back of a rolling paper, half honorable vision, half scheme to make other degens pay tuition for the same lessons he keeps failing. He knows a sensei who can't lift a training sword shouldn't be teaching form, but Azuma has never let a little rot stop him from selling the antidote.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Military patience. The Olive Green fighters do not announce themselves. They wait. Then they move.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Named for something specific. The Cet Kimono fighters know what they're wearing and why — the rest is for others to figure out.
Another east, but where Drooling Azuma's is the honest sunrise, Toxic's is where the reaction happens — the direction things curdle. Same name, entirely different chemistry.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
After. The Messy fighters' hair tells you what happened — not what they planned, but what they went through.
Repurposed. Made for the earth, used for the fight. The Farmers Hoe fighters don't distinguish between cultivation and combat.
