Young Yuji was born a beat too late for the last real war, so he goes looking for one in every alley, every dojo, every frostbitten dawn where somebody's dumb enough to spar him. Out past Kyoto in the cold that bites through even three hoodies, he threw hands with Junichiro until his knuckles went numb and his breath came out looking like smoke from a blunt he swears he did not just finish. Something cracked open in him that night, some old ghost of discipline his ancestors would have recognized, and for one hot second he actually felt like a samurai instead of a kid rugged by time itself. He has chosen to forget the specifics, the way he forgets most Tuesdays, because remembering means admitting he almost touched something real before the moment floor'd out from under him again. Still he can't sleep, still he trains at 3am swinging a bokken at shadows, chasing a glory that packed up and left town long before he ever showed up to the fight.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.

Ancient discipline, modern retention. The Braided Samurai Ponytail fighters maintain something traditional precisely because the world keeps trying to make them let it go.
