Young Yuji never got his real war, just the tail end of one, so he's been trying to manufacture glory out of whatever's lying around, and one 3am the universe handed him a wild boar loose in the dojo latrines. He fought it half asleep, still buzzed off a joint and cheap sake, screaming like the last samurai in some movie only he's watching, and when the dust settled he stood over the beast and felt something crack open in his chest that he swears was enlightenment and not just adrenaline. Now he tells anyone who'll listen that he's founding his own dojo, Yuji-ryu, discipline reborn, six a.m. drills, no excuses, the whole speech, usually delivered at 2am with bloodshot eyes and a mouth full of gas station taiyaki.
