Diary
Assassin Fuzen was once the kind of man temples wrote sutras about, a blade so patient it seemed to negotiate with time itself before it ever cut. Then came Degens Path, a single afternoon of teasing Yuuki that unraveled a decade of discipline like cheap silk, and the great man quietly filed himself under unfinished business. Now he sits in the back rooms of the Dojo the way an overdue invoice sits in a drawer, still owed, still owed, never quite collected. He tells himself he'll meditate at dawn, cut back on the sake, apologize to Yuuki properly, and every morning that contract rolls over unsigned while he watches another sunrise with a joint instead of a sword. Somewhere beneath the smoke and the dry little smile, the old samurai keeps waiting for himself to finally show up and close the deal.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Neither dark nor white. The Light Grey background belongs to fighters who operate in the space between certainties and have made it comfortable there.
Every cracked card. White is the beginner's belt, and torn is how the crack left it, border and all: a White card is never printed. A repair earns Blue.
'Fuzen' means incompleteness, a joke at his own expense before it was a name. The blade sent for the jobs that had to be certain — left with one last name on his list when the wars ended.
Explicit in every sense. The Fuck It Kimono fighters made a communication choice and wore it. No ambiguity. No apology.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The Dojo wrote on it. The Degen Graffiti Rice Hat fighters carry the collection's mark on the highest point of their body.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,468 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The floor weapon. Everywhere. Common because common is honest — the Rusty Nail fighters know that what you find is often better than what you planned.
