In the shaman's lair, thick with the sweet fog of weed smoke and older, stranger incense, Assassin Fuzen sat across from Yuji and let the plan take its shape slow, the way a blade takes its edge, patient and unhurried and never quite done. He was samurai once, bound by contracts he always closed on the first offer, but these days his ledger reads like a floor that never bottoms out, every deal left open, every debt outstanding. Yuji rambled about signs and second chances while Fuzen simply nodded, already three moves ahead, already deciding that if discipline would not return to him on its own, he would drag it back kicking by teaching it to others. So now he means to train degens, whip a dojo of gamblers and stoners into something resembling form, though anyone who has watched him try to meditate for longer than four minutes knows this contract, like all his others, is destined to stay unfinished. Still, he smiles the small dry smile of a man who has never once needed to finish anything to already consider it won.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.

The blue Oni does not rage. The blue Oni waits. The Blue Oni Tattoo fighters are the calmest ones in the room — which makes them the most dangerous.
'Fuzen' means incompleteness, a joke at his own expense before it was a name. The blade sent for the jobs that had to be certain — left with one last name on his list when the wars ended.

Nothing hidden. No armor above the neck. The Bald fighters face everything without cover and consider this the only honest approach.
