They called him Fat Bob before he'd even earned it, back when he was just a lanky ronin with big dreams and a bigger appetite, and somewhere between the wars ending and the third all-night mahjong session he decided the name was less an insult than a prophecy to fulfill. Sparring day at the dojo was supposed to be his redemption arc, the morning he finally cut the edibles and ran the old katas clean, but instead he showed up reeking of gas station burrito and last night's shochu, ready to trade blows with Junichiro like discipline was still a language he remembered fluently. Somewhere in the second exchange, tangled in Bob's unwashed gi and questionable hygiene choices, something crossed the DMZ between them, an unidentified rash blooming across Junichiro's forearm like a cursed NFT mint gone wrong, no refunds, no explanations, just regret. Junichiro screamed, the sensei fainted, and Bob just grinned that big dumb grin, patted his gut, and said
Sober, unlike the drunk variant. The Lizard fighters have a companion with excellent judgment who never asks for anything and always seems to know when to leave.
