Fatty Bobsticks will tell anyone who sits still long enough that he is nothing like his old man, and then in the same breath he'll tell you the story of the night he bet the entire family fortune on a dice roll at the main Buddhist temple, which is exactly the kind of degenerate stunt Fat Bob himself would have pulled, minus the shame. The monks watched in horror as he slammed his katana down as collateral when the coins ran dry, and the blade snapped clean in half the moment the dice came up wrong, as if even his own steel wanted no part of the family legacy. He blamed the sake, he blamed the shadow of his father looming over the betting table, he blamed the dice for being disrespectful, anything but himself. Now he swaggers around the dojo grounds insisting he is rebuilding his reputation through pure discipline, meditating for exactly four minutes before wandering off to reload on weed and re-bet what little he has left on cricket fights. Somewhere Fat Bob's ghost is laughing, and Fatty, loudly, insists he doesn't hear it.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Unglamorous and honest. The Black Peasant Sack fighters didn't dress for anyone else. They dressed for function and found that function is its own statement.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
