Fatty Bobsticks stood on the wet stones outside Kanazawa at dawn, mist rolling low like it was trying to hide him from Fat Bob's ghost, and swore this morning was the morning he wrote his own legend instead of footnoting somebody else's. He conjured the master plan right there: green tea over sake, tai chi over table flips, a body that owed nothing to the buffet at the Gion night market. He said it out loud too, loud enough that a heron three ponds over judged him personally, because Fatty Bobsticks does not scheme quietly, he narrates his own redemption arc like it's already been optioned. No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Between midday and dusk. The Orange Afternoon fighters are in the middle of something — not finished, not starting, exactly where they need to be.
