Diary
Everyone kept calling him 'Fat Bob's boy' before the fight, and Fatty Bobsticks answered the only way he knew how, by dragging Botan face-first through the rice paddies and putting him down like the old man never could, thank you very much. Mid-swing a snake reared up out of the flooded rows hissing about legacy and comparisons, and Fatty crushed it with the same elbow that ended Botan's afternoon, two birds, one very self-satisfied stone. He stood there afterward ankle-deep in mud, championship-armed and snake-slaying, shouting into the paddy that he was nobody's sequel, he was the main event, thank you. Botan is recovering slowly, propped up somewhere sipping broth and cursing rice farming forever, while Fatty tells anyone who'll listen that discipline is just confidence with better PR, a lesson he plans to actually learn as soon as the bragging tour wraps. His late father's shadow still trails him across every paddy like unpaid debt, and Fatty keeps swinging at it too, mostly missing, always louder.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The name is the lore. The Poop Pride Kimono fighters have transcended embarrassment so completely that they wear the proof. Undefeated.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Focus made visible. The Karate Headband fighters bound their intention around their skull so it couldn't escape during the fight.
Implies infirmity, delivers otherwise. The Wooden Walking Cane fighters move slower than expected and hit harder than prepared for.
