Diary
Fatty Bobsticks will tell you, loudly and often, that he is nothing like Fat Bob, thank you very much, he has his own legend to write, and that legend allegedly includes a heroic detour through the Okiyo region to help a gaggle of elderly farmers carry rice up a hill. What actually happened is that he set his katana down for one minute, one minute, to strike a heroic pose for absolutely no one, and some geriatric with the reflexes of a caffeinated ninja walked off with it while Fatty was busy admiring his own shadow, which of course looked suspiciously like Fat Bob's. He chased the theory of the thief for exactly four steps before deciding discipline was for sequels with better continuity, and dignity was for guys who hadn't just been robbed by someone's grandmother. Now he insists the whole Okiyo affair never happened, rewriting his own lore in real time like a true degenerate auteur, blaming lag, blaming karma, blaming Fat Bob's ghost for jinxing him from beyond whatever bar he's passed out in. Ask him about his sword and he'll pour another drink, puff out his chest, and swear this origin story is his and his alone, gaps and all.“
Not contacts. Not paint. Something older. The Shaman Eyes fighters see through the collection at a frequency others can't access, and they've been doing it since before the derug.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Kept from the harvest. The Dried Straw fighters dress in what's left after everything useful has been taken — and have discovered this is plenty.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Named for sensation. The Splitting Axe Ache fighters' hair is named for how their opponents feel after they're done.
