Fatty Bobsticks will tell anyone who sits still long enough that he is not, in fact, Fat Bob's understudy, thank you very much, even though he learned everything he knows about ambition by watching that old ronin ruin it first. Before Mount Koriyoka he was disciplined, katas at dawn, rice bowl exactly half full, the whole samurai package, but then a mistress with a laugh like wind chimes and a purse full of sake money lured him up the slope and his sword arm turned into a noodle. He chased her through the pines telling himself it was strategy, a tactical retreat toward pleasure, while Fat Bob's ghost cackled somewhere behind him going
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Still learning. The Student Gi fighters are the most dangerous in the Dojo — they have no habits yet, no fixed patterns, no ceiling.
He exists in Fat Bob's extended universe — related, distinct, and absolutely exhausted by the comparison. Same build, same laugh, different problems. Do not, he begs you, get them confused.
