Igor The Bear was ambitious once, back when he had blades to sharpen and a name to make, before the day he stood in the bamboo forest and stared down Oleg. Whatever happened in those green shadows never made it into words, but Igor came out slower, heavier, a mountain that had forgotten how to walk uphill. Now he sits and drinks and lets the weed do the moving for him, and every so often, between long silences, he mutters about what could have been, then laughs low because dwelling never budged a bear an inch. He keeps telling himself tomorrow is the day he trains again, tightens up, gets back the edge; tomorrow arrives, finds him exactly where it left him, and quietly apes into the next round with him. Once Igor decides to move, though, nothing on this earth stops him, which is precisely why he so rarely decides.
Not contacts. Not paint. Something older. The Shaman Eyes fighters see through the collection at a frequency others can't access, and they've been doing it since before the derug.
Hidden in plain sight. The Night Forest fighters do most of their work in the dark — not secretively, but quietly. They don't need an audience.
Built like a landslide — weight, physical and otherwise, the kind that can't be lifted, only rolled. In the wars you pointed him at a problem; now the stillness is the problem.
Named for something specific. The Cet Kimono fighters know what they're wearing and why — the rest is for others to figure out.
Born from the collection itself. The Degen generation Framed fighters came up through the ranks — they were regular fighters who crossed the threshold and were transformed by it.
Long range. The Telescopic Glasses fighters are already looking at what comes next while everyone else is still processing now.
The tiger, bound. The Tiger Headband Ruffian fighters contain something predatory with a strip of cloth and consider this sufficient.
Used and not cleaned. The Bloody Nunchucks fighters are efficient — cleaning was someone else's job and they had the next fight to prepare for.
