Igor was cheerful once, back when his whole world was a bucket and a shovel and the honest stink of horse stalls. Then came the palace roof, the geisha in red silk, the vows said too fast under a moon he didn't trust. Men call him The Veteran now and he lets them, never explains it, lets the silence do the talking while he nurses a warm sake and counts what he lost. He tried sobriety once, three whole days, then aped back into the bottle the moment someone mentioned her name. Some nights he still dreams of poop, glorious and simple, and wakes up angrier than a rugged bag holder that the dream was better than his life.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Military patience. The Olive Green fighters do not announce themselves. They wait. Then they move.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Organization ink made visible. The Black Yakuza Sleeves fighters belong to something — a code, a history — and they advertise their membership without speaking.
The other Igor — the lean one, who earned the word Veteran inside the dojo rather than bringing it with him. He's never explained what it refers to, and nobody's asked twice.
