Diary
Before the streets of Ikari swallowed him, Igor was a great man, a blade whose name settled arguments and quieted rooms. Something broke loose in those brawls, some hinge of discipline he never bothered to name, and he stopped bothering to name much of anything after. Now he sells himself on those same streets, trading whatever's left for whatever numbs, and every dawn he swears he'll drill the forms again before the bottle finds his hand first. He earned the title Veteran and he will not tell you how. The room goes still when he speaks, which is rare, and rarer still is the day he wins the small war against himself.
Without the gold. The Jesuit Crosses fighters have the same conviction but carry it lighter — the weight is in the belief, not the metal.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
Worn by the 42 Framed and no one else. A Dojocho (道場長) runs the dojo, and red is the belt you stop counting toward. Framed cards never crack, so this one never comes off.
The other Igor — the lean one, who earned the word Veteran inside the dojo rather than bringing it with him. He's never explained what it refers to, and nobody's asked twice.
Self-described. The Womanizer clothing is a declaration that the fighter has a particular relationship with the world and considers this worth advertising.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Movement made permanent. The Long Flowing fighters trail behind themselves in every room they enter — the hair arrives first, then the fighter.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,468 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Patience as weapon. The Noose fighters don't rush — they set the conditions and wait for the opponent to walk into them.
