Junichiro had come to the red light district only to discipline his men, clipboard of grievances practically tattooed to his palm, docking imaginary points for slouched posture and sloppier sake pours. Between reprimands he locked eyes with a pig rooting through the gutter with more dignity than half his roster possessed, and something in his exacting heart, the same heart that once measured every kata to the degree, simply surrendered. He told himself it was a lapse, a rounding error in an otherwise flawless ledger of self control, yet he found himself sneaking the pig scraps of grilled skewer while pretending to inspect his men's grip strength. Now he speaks of founding his own dojo, one built on precision and honor, though anyone paying attention notices the blueprint has a suspiciously roomy pigpen sketched beside the sparring ring. He insists discipline is a first son's birthright, an unshakable pillar, even as he loses, night after night, the small losing fight against loving something soft and undeserving of his ranking system.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
