Diary
They say Junichiro Reborn died once already, so a strange rash blooming across his ribs after a night curled up beside Tokuda near the Dojo woodpile barely registers as news to him, more like a signature confirming he is still, technically, alive. He examines the mottled skin under lantern light with the same flat serenity he once reserved for seppuku poetry, murmuring that the body keeps receipts even when the mind forgets the loan. Word spreads fast among the degens that sleeping too close to Tokuda is basically an unaudited smart contract, all yield, no safety, and Junichiro just smiles like a man who has already read the whitepaper of his own resurrection. In that eerie calm he announces his new purpose, to teach the dojo's gambling, weed-hazed brawlers some discipline, though his first lesson dissolves the moment someone rolls up a joint shaped suspiciously like a katana and everyone including the sensei himself gets pulled into the circle. He tells them enlightenment is a slow rug pull on your old self, laughing softly, because apparently coming back from the dead does not cure you of loving chaos, it just makes you eerily at peace with losing to it again.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
After the rice was used. The Rice Sack Rags fighters wear what remains after everything useful has been extracted — and find it sufficient.
He walked into something that should have ended him and walked back out with the same name and none of the same conditions. Nobody agrees what happened out there, and he's in no hurry to explain.
Still functional. Functionally broken. The Broken Glasses fighters see a cracked version of reality and have found it more honest than the uncracked one.
Time made visible, flowing. Flowing Dreads fighters carry their history in motion — every lock a year, and the years are moving now.
Found. Not forged. The Large Branch fighters don't wait for the right weapon — they use what's available and are surprised when this needs explanation.
