They say Junichiro died once, quietly, in a sake house that smelled of spilled rice wine and unpaid debts, and that the man who walked out afterward only borrowed his face. He does not correct the rumor. He remembers the grass on the table, ordinary weed rolled sloppy by some ronin's careless hand, and how staring into its green fibers undid a decade of discipline faster than any blade ever could. His faith, the old bushido hum he carried since boyhood, simply exhaled out of him and never came back, leaving behind a calm so total that people mistake it for enlightenment instead of the aftershock of watching yourself become someone else. Every morning he still kneels, straightens his spine, promises the dojo he will find the floor of his old self again, and every evening he is back in some smoky room, grinning at grass, losing the fight on schedule, second-chance humor buzzing behind eyes that have already seen how the story ends.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
