They say a man died on top of Mount Haku, and technically, Junichiro Reborn does not disagree. He was up there dueling for sport, katana singing in the thin cold air, when the call came down that his employer had liquidated his position along with the rest of the dojo staff, a real floor-cleaning rug pull disguised as restructuring. He remembers laughing at the irony mid-parry, missing a step, and something in him simply stopped being who he was before. Now he wears the robes, sits the long silences, tells anyone who'll listen that enlightenment is just getting rugged by your own ego and choosing not to ape back in. Every morning he vows to meditate before checking the charts, and every morning the charts win, so he bows to the Buddha, bows to the candlestick, and calls it all one practice.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.

Named for what it abandoned. The No Honor Kimono fighters gave up on the codes others follow and found that this freed them completely.
He walked into something that should have ended him and walked back out with the same name and none of the same conditions. Nobody agrees what happened out there, and he's in no hurry to explain.
