Diary
Junichiro Reborn died once, or so the rumor goes, and came back with a stillness that makes even the crows nervous, the kind of calm you only get from staring at the other side and finding it underwhelming. Under a bridge slick with river mud he tried on his old superior's voice and posture like a cheap NFT flex, aping the man's swagger stroke for stroke, convinced that death had upgraded his skills to legendary tier. It had not. His parry was a full second too slow, his bark cracked halfway through the command, and the ronin he was trying to fool laughed so hard he nearly fell into the river, which, Junichiro notes with serene amusement, is the closest thing to applause he's gotten in years. He tells this story at every campfire with the same beatific smile, no shame, no apology, because discipline is a floor he keeps promising to hold and keeps getting rugged out from under, and honestly, second chances are wasted on men who learn from the first one.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The red Oni rages where the blue Oni waits. The Red Oni Tattoo fighters run hot and they are at peace with this.
He walked into something that should have ended him and walked back out with the same name and none of the same conditions. Nobody agrees what happened out there, and he's in no hurry to explain.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Named for an incident. The Sushi Fight fighters have a story about how they got this hairstyle. They don't tell the story. The hair does.
A live chicken. As a weapon. The Chicken fighters have committed to an approach that nobody expected and found that unexpectedness is half the battle.
