Diary
One-Eyed Itsuki stood in front of the shoji doors like a man who'd already seen the punchline coming, because half his vision runs at double clarity and the other half just runs on vibes. Some clown from the dojo's floor decided to clown him for the eye, doing the bit loud enough for the whole courtyard, and mid-joke a hand snuck in and copped a feel that nobody asked for and everybody witnessed. Itsuki didn't flinch, didn't reach for steel, just raised one eyebrow and let the silence do the disciplining he used to trust his sword for. He walked away telling himself this was rock bottom, the kind a former samurai swears he'll never repeat, right before admitting under his breath that it was, against every code he once lived by, kind of thrilling. Discipline was supposed to be the whole point of the reformed life, but Itsuki's version of restraint these days is just staring at chaos with one good eye and calling it meditation.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Red moon, heightened stakes. The Red High Moon backgrounds mark the moments when everything was on the line and the fighter stayed.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Named for the journey, not the destination. The Recovering Alcoholic fighters are in process — and process is honest in a way that arrival never is.
'Itsuki' — a tree, deep roots and one straight trunk. He lost the eye in a story he tells four different ways depending on how much he likes you, and what's left sees more than most manage with two.
Long range. The Telescopic Glasses fighters are already looking at what comes next while everyone else is still processing now.
Organization-issue. The Yakuza Club fighters have backup in the weight of the weapon itself — it carries institutional authority.
