Diary
One-Eyed Itsuki only needs one good eye to see the whole board, and for years that board was a beach littered with regret and the widows who kept finding him there. He aped into that life the way degens ape into a green candle, no plan, no exit, just vibes and a bottle of shochu warming in the sand. Then one gray morning, half-blind to the world but seeing his own soul with brutal clarity, he decided honor was the only floor that never rugs a man, and he has been trying to hold that line ever since. He still trips over the same old vices, still eyes the sake shelf like it owes him money, but he laughs about it now, calling himself a wiser man who simply lost his other eye to keep the good one honest. The samurai in him bows to the mess he made; the degen in him just orders another round and calls it research.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Lived-in color. The Warm Grey background belongs to fighters who have been through enough that their edges have softened without their core changing.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Half the statement. The Skull Sleeve fighters communicate their philosophy in one arm — the other arm is for whatever needs doing next.
'Itsuki' — a tree, deep roots and one straight trunk. He lost the eye in a story he tells four different ways depending on how much he likes you, and what's left sees more than most manage with two.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Broad shade, broad vision. The Wide Kasa Fisherman fighters cover more ground with their hat than most cover with their plans.
The floor weapon. Everywhere. Common because common is honest — the Rusty Nail fighters know that what you find is often better than what you planned.
