Raikou once swore an oath under a dojo roof that no longer exists, and now the closest thing he has to a code is not bogarting the joint when it's Oleg's turn at the Fight Pits. It was on one such sacred rotation, smoke curling like some half-remembered kata, that he locked eyes with a pig wandering the pit's edge and felt something realign in his chest like a floor price finally holding. Oleg said it was just the weed talking, but Raikou, ever the deadpan mystic, insisted enlightenment often arrives on four trotters and doesn't care about your technical analysis. He named her his emotional support liquidity, whispered old samurai vows to her between hits, and promised himself this was the day he'd finally get disciplined, meditate at dawn, train before noon, stop projecting devotion onto barnyard animals. Dawn came, discipline didn't, and Raikou simply exhaled slow, scratched the pig's ear, and muttered that some rugs you just gotta ape into anyway.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Blessed by the Dojo's own rites. The Ordained Dejen fighters carry something that can't be revoked — the Dojo recognized them and that recognition is permanent.
'Raikou' — lightning light. He moved slow and easy right up until the instant he didn't, and then it was over. These days he's mostly slow, and swears the smoke helps him think.
The disguise is the identity. The Degen Superhero glasses fighters have a secret — or maybe the secret is that there's no secret and they've always been exactly this.
Elevated tradition. The High Straw Rice Hat fighters dress high above their own heads — everything they do is reaching upward.
Patience as weapon. The Noose fighters don't rush — they set the conditions and wait for the opponent to walk into them.
