Diary
Raikou used to be the kind of samurai who could split a falling leaf before it touched the ground, but that was back when discipline was the only substance he inhaled. At the Darkness Festival he sat cross legged beneath paper lanterns, packed a bowl the size of a temple bell, and aped the entire family fortune into a single dice throw like it was a blue chip at the top of a bull run. The elders warned him the odds were rugged from the start, but Raikou just exhaled slow smoke and said the universe would provide liquidity, man. It did not provide liquidity. Now he floats through the dojo halls, half lotus, half liquidated, telling anyone who'll listen that losing everything was actually a lesson in non attachment, all while quietly, hopelessly trying to rebuild a fortune he definitely will bet again the moment the next festival lanterns light up.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The dragon lives on the body now. The Dragon Head Tattoo fighters carry their ambition on the surface — it's not hidden, and it's not a metaphor.
'Raikou' — lightning light. He moved slow and easy right up until the instant he didn't, and then it was over. These days he's mostly slow, and swears the smoke helps him think.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Time made visible, flowing. Flowing Dreads fighters carry their history in motion — every lock a year, and the years are moving now.
