Diary
Down at the Tsukiji-adjacent fish stalls, Raikou The Stoner sat cross-legged among mackerel guts and sawdust, whittling a bokken with the unhurried patience of a monk who forgot what time even is, man. Some stranger's hand wandered where no hand should wander mid-carving, and for one suspended second the whole market went silent, the tuna judging softly from their ice beds. Raikou did not flinch, did not swing the half-finished weapon, only exhaled a slow ring of smoke and thought, huh, rugged, but also kind of the floor for my personal growth arc. He finished the sword anyway, wobbly grip and all, because a true samurai completes the craft even when violated by commerce and chaos energy. Now he tells anyone who'll listen that the groping was actually his rug pull into enlightenment, that discipline is a chart he keeps trying to read upside down, and honestly the fish still smell like liberation.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The red Oni rages where the blue Oni waits. The Red Oni Tattoo fighters run hot and they are at peace with this.
'Raikou' — lightning light. He moved slow and easy right up until the instant he didn't, and then it was over. These days he's mostly slow, and swears the smoke helps him think.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
The other fish weapon. The Dead Fish fighters use something that smells like loss as a weapon — opponents are too confused to defend properly.
