The bone snapped, the plan folded, and Yuji spent the following weeks in a sling narrating his own humiliation aloud to anyone nearby, treating the incident less like pain and more like primary source material. He insists the failure was tactical, not personal, and has since rebranded himself as an instructor for the degen masses, determined to teach discipline he himself keeps failing to practice, mostly because the lesson plan involves fewer pleasure houses and he keeps getting outvoted. Still, he shows up each week, chalk in his good hand, narrating his own contradictions with the weary charm of a man who knows the footnotes are the whole point.
