There was a season when the God Of Lightning behaved badly, real badly, betraying his own kin out in the cold like a man who mistook thunder for wisdom. He drifted after that, slow as smoke curling off a lantern, letting the weed and the losses stack up while he told himself he was just observing the flow of the universe, brother. Now he is writing the Degen Handbook, one deadpan verse at a time, promising it will restore the discipline he traded away, though most chapters trail off into a haze and a half-finished thought about the floor price. He swears the next page will strike like lightning; it mostly just flickers, and he nods at it anyway like it meant to. Balance is coming, he says, exhaling, and everyone pretends to believe the storm has a plan.
