Let the record show that Timberwolf is nothing like Fat Bob, no matter how many times the tavern regulars squint and ask if they are brothers, cousins, or the same disappointment twice. It was down in the dirt, sharing greasy ribs with BBQ Ben, that he misplaced his sandals entirely, and in that barefoot moment of shame he declared he would dedicate his whole life to Buddhism, achieve enlightenment, and finally outshine every shadow that came before him. He sat in meditation for one glorious afternoon before his knees screamed, a fresh bowl of weed appeared, and Ben asked if he wanted to gamble away his begging bowl. The old samurai in him whispered of stillness and discipline; the rest of him aped straight back into the mud, chanting sutras between mouthfuls of pork. He swears the barefoot enlightenment is coming any day now, and it will be entirely his own, thank you very much.
