Assassin Fuzen once closed contracts the way other men close doors, silent, final, no witnesses left to argue the terms. These days the only outstanding contract is the one he keeps signing with his own discipline, and it never quite closes either. It was in the dojo latrines, of all cursed places, that he lost his mojo, elbow-deep in a search for coins that had allegedly rolled beneath the floorboards during a dice game gone sideways. He found no ryo, no floor price, nothing but the damp echo of his former honor mocking him from the drain, and he emerged smelling of defeat and old bathhouse regret. He calls himself wiser now, the way a man calls a rug pull
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
Seasonal. Fleeting. Beautiful because it ends. The Autumn Sakura Kimono fighters understand that the things that don't last are what make things matter.
'Fuzen' means incompleteness, a joke at his own expense before it was a name. The blade sent for the jobs that had to be certain — left with one last name on his list when the wars ended.
Carried more than worn. The Pocket Glasses fighters have perfect vision when they choose to apply it — the rest of the time, they let instinct run.
The farmer's crown. The Rice Hat fighters carry tradition on their head without ceremony — it's just what you wear when you have work to do.
