Ikari went in laughing about some rugged NFT mint and came out twenty minutes later mumbling to pigeons, and now the whole ward whispers that Fuzen's words are a contract you sign without ever seeing the fine print. He used to close blades the way a samurai closes a duel, one clean cut, no negotiation, but these days he just waits in shadows with a lukewarm sake and lets other men's minds do the unraveling for him. There is still a ronin's discipline buried somewhere under the patience, a code that says finish what you start, yet he keeps discovering that driving men mad is so much easier than actually collecting on the debts they owe him. So the ledger stays open, Ikari stays gibbering somewhere near the docks, and Fuzen just sits there sharpening a sword he has not needed to draw in weeks, quietly amused that his most lethal technique now is simply talking.
